Cynthia Louise Bissett was the Vice President of Verizon's mobile network. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. was director of a company which runs an online networking system. Her family was in the exclusive Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan in an elitist Catholic family. As a result, her parents enrolled into the Convent of the Sacred Heart a prestigious religious school. Music was her passion in the early years of a child. She learned how to play a keyboard, and at the age of 13, wrote her very first song. She was a part of the open mic nights. She was a fan of Queen Michael Jackson, Madonna as well as David Bowie. When she graduated from high school she attended the New York University's Tisch School of Art to learn about music. But, she didn't finish her education. Instead, she began her career in music.
