Amybeth McNulty, an Irish-Canadian actor. She is best known for playing Anne Shirley, a character that is based on Lucy Maud's 1908 book Anne of Green Gables. Amybeth McNulty, born 7 November 2001, was the daughter of a Canadian father and an Irish mother. Amybeth McNulty was born in Ireland on November 7th, 2001. Amybeth will turn twenty in 2023. She was raised in the Irish island Donegal in Ireland. She is both Irish as well as Canadian. Her hair is naturally blonde. Anne was also in a tense relationship to Gilbert Blythe who was two years younger than Anne however he was studying at the same grade after having his education stopped when his father fell ill. On their first meeting as classmates, Gilbert teased Anne by giving her the nickname Carrots. Amybeth McNulty plays Anne, an abandoned 13 year old girl who endures a childhood of abuse in the homes and orphanages. Anne is a young orphan, who was raised in a hostile home for much of her youth, is sent in error to the elderly Cuthbert siblings in Prince Edward Island. The show ends in 1919. Gilbert and Anne remain happily together. Gilbert is 55 years old and remains in love with Anne.
